I'm having a WONDERFUL time playing with my new toy, MDS2!!! YOU CAN GET A FREE 30 DAY TRIAL ON MY WEBSITE!!! For the uninitiated, MDS2 is the new updated version of Stampin' Up!'s digital program, "My Digital Studio". I thought the MDS program was terrific before (It was!) but now, it totally blows me away. The new functionalities allow lots of fun new stuff. Though I'm barely touching the surface here, I'll point out a few things below:
The pages get wackier as you go down. :>)
Just trying out a few features -- cohesive pages later...
- The buterfly is done as a watermark. I can see beautiful watermarked backgrounds in my furure.
- The circle is a stamp colored in two colors, just like you can do on regular stamps with the Stampin' Up! Markers.
- The picture with the Easter Bunny was dropped right into a punch shape and then moved over to show all four of us. Imagine being able to do this with any shape punch...
- I can now make splatters!!!!!!! It's like using the Huffer Puffer (that's the Color Spritzer Tool for those of you who haven't attended my classes) but with more control!!!

Loving this as an introductory page for an album! It took all of about 3 minutes, 2 of those to find the pictures. The program resized the picture to fit the circle perfectly.

This took all of 4 minutes including the stiches and staples (especially the one by Aaron's toe on his broken leg).

Okay, this is weird.... :>)
- I recolored the cat stamp to be marked like our cat.
- I added (badly -- I'm new at this!) a "Dream Bubble" using the "Freeform" feature.
- The fish are watermarked to be more "dreamlike". I know, I'm over-analyzing. :>)
- I resized the fish to make them look more like a real group
- I moved all the fish as a group at one time even though they're individual stamps.

Giving equal time to our canine friends...
- The letters were added and then recolored to yellow
- I painted the turquoise swirls on them at random. I could easily have made them striped or polka dotted too.
I'm currently working on a partial family album for our son and I'm definitely going to use something like this for it -- Family Tree -- get it? :>)
- The tree was stamped in Soft Suede
- The leaves were colored individually in Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and More Mustard
- I added torn edges at the top and bottom
- Some splatters were added for depth. I changed their size, angle and opacity to my liking.

Ready to get psychedelic? I had so much fun doing this!!! At full size, the blurred shadow behind my friendly guitarist REALLY messes with your eyes! :>)

I started off with the same stamp as on the guitarist, above. I dropped in a diffused shadow and colored individual portions of the stamp. I threw on the ribbon and knot and there we go.. I have NO idea what I'd ever use this for but it was awfully fun to make!
Are you ready to check this out? You can order a FREE Trial Download of MDS2 from my website and use it for 30 days!!! Just go to www.playwithmarcia.stampinup.net . You really have nothing to lose. Email me ( mlycat@earthlink.net) if you have questions and I'll be happy to help you out.
I'm having SO MUCH FUN!!! :>)
