What's coming up?

I spent a HUGE chunk of today on the computer getting stuff for my business organized.  I typed out "recipes" (lists of needed items for individual projects), and I worked out how I'm going to deal with the next two classes I plan to teach.

THIS FRIDAY (August 17, 2012) I'll have a Card Buffet in Oxnard from 7 pm until Midnight.  I' need to decide which cards I'm going to use because I've been doing a BUNCH of designing this past week.  Bronchitis and the inability to go out and exercise will do that to me...

I've been having a wonderful time designing cards with new stuff from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Minicatalog!  In just the last few days I've tried out all these goodies (click on the links for a better look):

New Core'dinations Cardstock -- this can be sanded to bring out the new shade from the INSIDE of the cardstock!  WONDERFUL with embossing folders.

New 1/8" silver Minibrads  Flower centers!

Watercolor Winter Stamp Set -- Two-step stamping for Christmas

The new Dazzle Markers -- in silver and in gold -- FINALLY!  Metallic markers that don't make my lungs angry!

Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper pack -- I'm using these for my paper bead class soon but they'd be terrific as mats for pictures in a holiday album

The Googly Ghouls stamp set and Googly Eyes -- an adorable stamp set meant to be used with our self adhesive googly eyes

The Perfectly Preserved stamp set -- this would go beautifully with gifts for a down-home touch

The Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric and Jumbo Sticky Rounds -- I'm figuring out how to incorporate fabric into my projects little by little.  These Sticky  Rounds will help BIG TIME!  I started working with them and asked them where they'd been all my life...  Don't tell my husband.

The Woodgrain Embossing Folder and Autumn Accents BigZ die  for making autumn come to life

and, of course, My Digital Studio 2 -- SO excited!

There's so much more!  I just want to get started on my Holiday Cards!!!

If you don't have your copy of the Holiday Minicatalog yet, let me know and we'll see how to get one to you.  I'll have some available on Friday Night and, we could always book YOUR PARTY so you and your friends can make cards on your schedule instead of deep into the night on a Friday.
